Ex-Lions QB issues warning to Aaron Rodgers' Steelers after SNF collapse against Chargers

The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a disappointing 25-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The nature of their fourth loss of the season has former Detroit Lions quarterback Dan Orlovsky concerned.

The Steelers' lead over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North has been cut in half after Sunday's loss. Pittsburgh's defense has been a weak link for the team this season, but the offense, in some ways, was worse against the Chargers.

After the loss, Dan Orlovsky sent a warning to the Steelers and their fans on X.

“Last night should worry the Steelers and their fans.”

The Steelers had just three points in the game before their final drive, which made the score 25-10. Pittsburgh has lost three of its last four games and is one game ahead of the Ravens, who are making a late charge for the postseason with Lamar Jackson returning to the fray.

Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a poor game, completing 16 of 31 attempts for 161 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

“I expect to play really well every week, and that wasn't my best performance,” Rodgers said. “I have to play better. Whatever it takes. If it's better controls, if it's better pitching.

“Whatever it is, I've got to play better. We've got to bounce back. We've got a division opponent next week. We're 5-4, we're a game up in the division. We've got to play better on offense.”

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin confident in team's ability to play better after Chargers loss

The Steelers' third loss in four games has drawn criticism from analysts and fans. However, Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin isn't sweating the loss and sent a warning to other teams.

“We're going to be better,” Tomlin said after the game. “We need to be, but we certainly weren't tonight.”

The Steelers will host the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday before traveling to Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears the following week.
