On WWE RAW, a current champion would retain his title in an excellent match before receiving a shocking betrayal by a WWE Hall of Famer, starting a new storyline.
This week on RAW, one of the big title matches announced saw Stephanie Vaquer defend her Women's World Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel Rodríguez of The Judgment Day has undoubtedly been one of the most underrated stars in WWE in 2025, with many calling her the most improved star on the entire roster. The fact that she was in the mix for the women's world title should tell you that there is a lot of faith in what she has to offer. Unfortunately for Rodriguez's match itself, it wasn't enough as Stephanie Vaquer put her out and retained her title.
Nikki Bella was crucial in this title defense as Stephanie Vaquer's great ally, taking out Roxanne Perez. Even when Perez threw a fit after the match, Bella went to Vaquer's aid. But when the Champion turned, the wwe Hall of Famer Nikki Bella would confront her best friend and attack her with the Women's World Title, making her intentions known.
It wasn't that much of a surprise Nikki Bella he turned to her, but it was a surprise to see it pass so quickly. The story barely had time to breathe or play out, and yet, Bella has already turned on her. The thing is, since her return, Nikki Bella's record on RAW and PLE has been abysmal. She told Vaquer as much recently on RAW, but the Women's World Champion reminded her who she was.
That means Vaquer and Nikki Bella are set to cross paths at some point in what will undoubtedly be Vaquer's biggest title defense to date.
