Police were investigating the blast outside Delhi's historic center Eight peoplewith officers who describe in detail the final products of the vehicles.
Police said the blast took place around 7pm on Monday evening outside Red Fortro, an old busy street in Old Delhi.
Delhi police officer Sathish Golcha said the explosion occurred after a “slow-moving vehicle” was stopped at a red light outside Statro States.
Eight people were killed in the explosion and around 20 were injured. The force of the explosion set fire to nearby cars, rickshaws and shattered the windows of Sikh places of worship.
Speaking on Tuesday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that those will be bought.

Witnesses said they saw limbs torn from bodies scattered on the streets. “I saw the car explode while driving,” Dharmindra DhaA, 27, told AFP. “People were on fire and we tried to save them… Cars and people were on fire – people inside the cars were on fire.”
Jai, 49, a local shoki, said the sound of the explosion was so loud it mocked his hearing. “I heard a loud noise with my ears closed. Then I saw parts of the car flying and body parts,” he said.
The cause of the explosion was not known on Tuesday morning, as special teams and investigators from the Bulhi of Lalhi and the Agenctional Agencle, which works on crimes, searched the place. The Delhi Police said they have registered the cases under the anti-separatism, illegal activities (prevention) and explosives laws.
According to reports, four people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
In an address on Tuesday morning, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said: “The country that is leading the investigation agencies is acting very quickly in the process – the findings are happening very soon.”
He also said: “I want to assure the nation that all those who cause their destruction will be judged and will not be spared in some cases.”
According to reports, investigators have revised their final tracks of the vehicle that allegedly caused the explosion. On Monday night, two people were arrested who were linked to a Hyundai car, which was registered in Haryana.
The CCTV files are said to show a car driving in the old parking lot near the red spot about 3 on the spot, which appears to be wearing a mask – remained in the car.
