Lexi Thompson shares an update on the physical struggle ahead of The Annika


Lexi Thompson is getting ready to rock it in Florida this week for The Annika. However, just a few days before the tournament, he gave fans an update on his physical health.

In her latest post on Instagram, the LPGA Tour The star shared a mirror selfie of herself with a paragraph. He explained that while playing golf a day ago, he suffered a neck injury.

Although she hoped it was a minor problem and would go away by the next day, Thompson woke up the next day to be in even more pain. Here's a look at what the semi-retired professional golfer had to say before she takes part in an LPGA Tour event in a few days (via Instagram @lexi):

“It's not much fun when you're playing and your neck decides to lock up on you, and then you struggle to move it the next morning. Thanks for the pain cream. I hope it gets better overnight.”
