NFL fans destroy Commanders HC as Mike Sainristil fumbles with Dolphins punt with game tied 13-13

Dan Quinn's Washington Commanders suffered a 16-13 overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 11 in Madrid, Spain. However, with the game tied at 13-13 in the fourth quarter with 4:11 left, Commanders cornerback Mike Sainristil made a punt that gave Miami possession back.

When fans on social media saw Sainristil's costly mistake, they slammed Quinn for using the sidekick to pay back the expenses.

“Dan Quinn needs to be investigated because Mikey Sainristil returns spikes with the game on the line,” tweeted one.

“Dan Quinn is gone after this season. Absolute incompetent idiot of a head coach,” added another.

“Mike Sainristil returning is another bad coaching practice. Who the hell thinks Mike Sainristil returning is a good idea.” commented a third.

With the loss to Miami, Washington fell to a 3-8 record. The Commanders have now lost six games in a row and are all but out of the playoff race.

Dan Quinn's Chiefs will face the Denver Broncos in Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season

The Chiefs have a BYE in Week 12. They will return to action in Week 13 to host the Denver Broncos on November 30.

The Commanders-Broncos game will begin at 8:20 PM ET from Northwest Stadium in Summerfield, Maryland.

The Broncos (8-2) will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11 later Sunday and have a BYE in Week 12 before traveling to face Washington.
