Gabby Thomas had an incredible year in 2024, winning three Olympic gold medals. Now, as he goes to the new season, the North -American made an amazing revelation while discussing the places on the Grand Slam court by Michael Johnson.
Johnson, well regarded as one of the largest sprinters of all time, launched GST, a unique track league, last year. The League will have four meetings, with the first competition that will take place in Kingston, Jamaica, followed by meetings in Los Angeles, Miami and Philadelphia.
Gabby Thomas Signed with Grand Slam Track at the end of last year and recently ranked the League locations. In an Instagram video, he revealed that he was more excited to compete in Jamaica, without having to run before.
“I'm more excited by Kingston. I'm really excited. I had never competed in Jamaica before. “
Then it proceeded to classify the remaining three locations, saying:
“(Second) Miami, because I love Miami. (Then) Philly, because I love Franklin Field, it is close and loved in my heart, this is where I ran to college and then we have the. It is great. “”
Gabby Thomas signed with the Grand Slam track by Michael Johnson in November 2024. The North -American made his enthusiasm for the league clear in a statement, emphasizing his enthusiasm for competing against the best sprinters.
“I am very excited to unite -Grand Slam Track and associate -with Michael Johnson to give our sport the platform that deserves. Leaving the Olympic Games, I want to continue testing -and competing at the highest level against the fastest women in the world. Grand Slam Track allows us this opportunity by 2025.”
Thomas praised Johnson's vision, saying:
“Michael's vision is incredibly exciting and I can't wait to give us even more likely to the millions of followers on the world. I want to see all our fans in the four slims of next year.”
Thomas will compete in the Sprints short event group in the GST, which will have the races of 100 MI 200m. Out of Gabby Thomas, there are other stars that have signed with Grand Slam Track Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Fred KerleyKenny Bednarek, Cole Hocker and more.
Grand Slam Track's first meeting takes place between April 4 and 6 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. The event will be transmitted live to Peacock, with a broadcast available to the CW.
