AJ Brown met with Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie during practice at the NovaCare Complex on Thursday. The meeting came after the receiver publicly complained about the team's offensive woes. He called the offense a “sh*tshow” during a Twitch stream Wednesday, expressing his frustration at struggling to get involved in the game plan.
Brown was asked to share the details of the meeting; however, the three-time Pro Bowler declined.
“I'll keep it between me and him,” Brown said Sunday, via Zach Berman of The Athletic .

Brown's season-long displeasure with his usage erupted during a live stream with Twitch streamer Janky Rondo to play Madden NFL 26. The receiver made candid comments about his situation, before joking that fantasy football administrators should get rid of him.
“Where have you been?” Brown said. “Family is good. Everything else? No. It's a crap show. You're doing a 'How are you?' I've been fighting bro.”
Brown clarified that his comments were directed at the entire Eagles offense, stressing that the defense cannot be relied upon to save the unit. He urged his colleagues to contribute more.
Brown assured Lurie that he would avoid taking out your frustrations on social media moving forward, according to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio. He reportedly apologized for taking out his frustrations online, but the team owner responded by telling his star wide receiver that he didn't need to. They ended their meeting with a hug before Brown returned to practice.
AJ Brown's goals improved in October after a slow September. Had a 121-yard, one-touchdown performance against Minnesota; however, after the Week 9 bye, his production dipped again with just 13 yards.
Meanwhile, DeVonta Smith he has become the team's WR1, leading in every major category and has nearly 250 more yards than Brown.
Brown's comments reflected an increase frustration with underutilization. He has 31 receptions for 408 yards and three touchdowns in eight games, ranking 63rd in receptions and 51st in receiving yards in the NFL.
Brown signed a three-year, $96 million extension (according to Spotrac) in August 2024, making him one of the highest-paid receivers in the league.
