CM Punk has promised there is one thing he will never do. He feels it will upset a lot of people.
Thanks for sending!
CM Punk was recently interviewed in Mostly sports with Mark Titus and Brandon Walker. There, Punk discussed the possibility of writing a book and said he would never do it. He felt that if he wrote a book, afterwards, many people would be upset by the things he had to say.
“No… No… I think too many people would get unnecessarily angry.”
He also admitted that writing a book like that was a big undertaking, and he had seen how his wife, AJ Leehe had written his book and the trouble he had taken to write it all. He added that he did not find the process enjoyable and that he had to work very hard to get things done.
“It's also a big company. I saw my wife carefully writing her books and it doesn't look nice. She worked really hard on it and it's like I have to focus 100% of my time on it.”
He went on to say that he also knew he would face lawsuits after the process. Punk also admitted that there were things a lot of people didn't know, but he personally felt they didn't need to know anything.
“And then people would say, 'I'm going to sue you.' There are things that people don't know, but I also think that not everyone needs to know everything.”
Before returning to WWE, Punk had initially returned to wrestling AEW. The star struggled there, but it didn't quite pan out despite winning the first title.
Behind-the-scenes issues and real-life conflicts led him to leave the company for good.
His previous WWE run also ended in controversy, but this time around, the star is doing things differently in the company and has stayed clear.
