Demetrious Johnson recently opened up about having to take a break The Mighty Guru Show which he co-hosted with MMA Guru.

For context, MMA Guru is a popular combat sports content creator known for his outspoken opinions. Johnson teamed up with him earlier this year to pitch The Mighty Guru Show on YouTube, which turned out to be a huge success.

In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Johnson addressed the matter and announced that the show they co-hosted has been put on ice for now. Expressing his dismay at MMA Guru's comments, he said:

“Yeah, The Mighty Guru pod is on ice right now. It's not quite over. The Guru said some things that I obviously don't agree with… I don't watch all of Guru's content. I don't play him. I don't see what he's saying in any way… Did I address Guru off-camera about this situation? Yeah, we talked about it on Guright's last episode. Show.”

He continued:

“I yelled at him for that… I asked the Guru to stop saying such things… If my son spoke like that, my son would be getting yelled at by me because I didn't raise him like that.”

MMA Guru recently approached The Mighty Guru Show stopped indefinitely and defended Demetrius Johnson against online reviews.

In an X publicationthe controversial MMA-based influencer wrote:

“I was fine with you bitches here acting like I'm a murderer because I called someone inbr*di I told a guy who was spamming my live chat to cry at a border but now you're going to DJ, I'll drop the news soon. The Mighty Guru Show is over. DJ was the base for it! Video coming soon.

“I get it, lots of p*ssy b*tch victims here crying about a 2019 donation and words on a live stream, but the 'How does DJ work with this guy?' things have to stop. We talked right after the pod dropped on this. I texted him the other day saying I'm fine with backing off.”
