Mercedes Mone suffered an unexpected loss in a major title match at AEW Full Gear last night. Now, the CEO has caught the attention of fans by posting a cryptic message.
Mercedes Mone was heading to Full Gear 2025 last night to challenge for the AEW Women's World Championship in the midst of what has arguably been the most successful stretch of her pro wrestling career. In just one month, the CEO broke Ultimo Dragon's record holding 10 titles concurrently at WrestleDream 2025 and was later ranked number 1 on the PWI Top 250 Women's Wrestlers list. She recently captured an incredible 13th pro wrestling title and was part of the winning team in the inaugural Women's Blood and Guts match at Dynamite a few weeks ago, incidentally against a team led by her Full Gear opponent Kris Statlander. However, on the night, Mone, who has rarely lost singles matches in AEW, suffered a shocking loss as Statlander retained his title at the pay-per-view. Now, Mone has addressed that loss by sharing a cryptic message that seems to beg for respect.
The reigning TBS champ has been showing some activity on X today and a few hours ago, she shared a cryptic post that read:
“NO MORE RESPECT,” Mone wrote
It looks like the loss to Kris Statlander has pushed Mercedes Mone over the edge, as the CEO posted on X today: dropping the F bomb and is clearly showing signs of frustration at his loss last night to Galaxy's Greatest Alien.
Check out his post X below:
The reigning TBS champion appears to be hitting back at those who have criticized or mocked her following her loss at Full Gear. Despite the setback, Mone remains one of the best female wrestlers in the industry, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the CEO of All Elite Wrestling.
