Erika Kirk reveals how many children she wanted with Charlie Kirk and that she prayed she was pregnant when he was killed.


Erika Kirk recently admitted she prayed she was pregnant when her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, was fatally shot while attending an event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. The widow recently sat down for an interview with Megyn Kelly during the latter's tour stop in Glendale, Arizona, on November 10, 2025.

During the interview, Kelly mentioned Erika and Charlie Kirk's children and asked her how many children they wanted to have. A visibly emotional Erika replied that they were expecting four children, adding that she was “praying to God” because she was pregnant when her husband was killed. For the uninitiated, the Kirks have it two childrena three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son.

“We wanted to have four. And I was praying to God that she was pregnant when he was murdered,” Erika Kirk replied.

Erika Kirk further added that she advised young couples, especially young women, not to “postpone” pregnancy, saying that they could always return to their careers, but could never have children again. She also said and Charlie Kirk they were “excited” to expand their family.

“I know. I thought, oh my God, this would be the ultimate blessing in this catastrophe. So now when I see young couples, I tell them, 'Please don't put it off,'” Kirk added.

She continued:

“Especially if you're a young woman. Don't let it go, you can always have a career, you can always, you know, go back to work. You can never have kids again. And they grow up so fast and so fast, but I was just praying. We both were. We were excited to expand our family.”

Megyn Kelly further added that when Kirk's children grow up, “they will find out that they are Charlie Kirk's children and they will know what that means.”


Erika Kirk previously revealed that her daughter still asks about her father

Erika Kirk recently revealed that she and Charlie Kirk's three-year-old daughter are praying for their father during an emotional interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters, which aired on November 5, 2025. When Watters asked Erika if her children ask her, “Where's daddy?” the widow replied that her daughter did, saying:

“Yeah, my daughter keeps asking. But it's really sweet because I keep telling her some things. And I told her, if you ever want to talk to daddy, just look up in the sky and start talking to him. He can hear you.”

A visibly emotional Erika Kirk continued:

“And I told her, I told her, you know daddy's in heaven. She says, 'Do you think I could ever go there?' I said, 'Baby, we're all going someday. We'll all go one day.”

During the same interview, Erika Kirk responded to several conspiracy theories floating online about Charlie Kirk's death, adding that she had “isolated herself” to be present for her children and her work as the new CEO of Turning Point USA. He also urged people to be mindful of what they post on social media, as their children could be affected by the things they read about their father online in the future.


During her interview with Megyn Kelly, Erika Kirk revealed that she had no anger or sympathy for Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man arrested as the alleged shooter of Charlie Kirk.

According to The Sun, he continued that anything he “could wish upon him or that family (Robinson's family) would pale in comparison to God's justice.” For the uninitiated, the widow claimed it he forgave Robinson during her husband's memorial service in Glendale, Arizona on September 21.
