John Cena has dropped the truth about his retirement. The 17-time WWE World Champion will compete in his final match on December 13 in Saturday Night's Main Event.

Cena will face either Gunther or LA Knight. The two superstars will clash on this week's SmackDown in the finals of The Last Time Is Now tournament. Cena has a brief history with Knight, but has not crossed paths with Gunther.

“I know I want to do it forever. I can speak from my perspective. That's something I've heard a lot in the last year: 'Man, you're going to go out on your own terms.' the fan base, like when I started before I won that first championship, when I'm a step slower, I'm out.” John Cena said. John Cena says he will never end his retirement

John Cena has confirmed that he will never end his retirement and will return to WWE for one more match after December 13th.

During the same conversation, this is what The Last Real Champion had to do say:

“You don't have to believe anything you don't want to. What I've been able to do for 23 years is turn around a lot of non-believers and that's because of my actions. I don't expect anyone to believe that like, 'Hey, I'm retiring.' when I ever come back.”

John Cena's final opponent will be determined tomorrow night.
