Becky Lynch shared a hilarious reaction to John Cena tapping out in his final WWE match. The 48-year-old retired from in-ring competition following his loss to Saturday night main event.

Gunther defeated LA Knight in the finals of the Last Time is Now tournament earlier this month on SmackDown to earn the right to be John Cena’s final opponent. The Ring General tapped Cena into a Sleeper Hold at SNME to end the legend’s run.

Lynch took to social media today to share his thoughts on The Cenation Leader’s submission in his last bout. The man humorously claimed that she would never touch, despite AJ Lee being introduced by Black Widow at Wrestlepalooza 2025 and during the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.

“I still can’t believe John Cena tapped. EVER!” she wrote

AJ Lee provided a distraction during Becky Lynch’s Intercontinental Women’s Championship match against Maxine Dupri on the November 11 edition of RAW. Dupri capitalized and captured the Intercontinental Women’s Championship due to Lee’s involvement. Lynch accused WWE of corruption after the loss and it has been boycotting RAW since he played at Survivor Series.

Becky Lynch called out Maxine Dupri after the Women’s Intercontinental Champion failed to appear on last week’s episode of WWE RAW.

Big Time Becks took to social media to mock the champion and he wondered if he already worked for the company after not appearing on the show. Lynch also claimed that she was a wrestling champion during her time with the title.

“WHERE IS YOUR (FAKE) IC CHAMPION?! DOES SHE EVEN WORK HERE? She was offering title matches EVERY WEEK (True)! It was well known backstage that you could ask me for a title match and I would gladly take it! Unlike SOME PEOPLE, I didn’t need to announce my bus. POTATOES! MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF)” Lynch tweeted.
