Shedeur Sanders is on a losing streak in the last three games as QB1 for the Cleveland Browns. After replacing Dillon Gabriel as the starter in Week 12, the son of Coach Prime has just one win under his belt.
However, the blame can’t be placed entirely on the rookie quarterback, according to reports. The Browns are considered to have one of the worst offensive lines this season. This has negatively affected Shedeur Sanders’ performance on the field, while also hindering rookie running back Quinshon Judkins.
Thanks for sending!
But analyst Jason Whitlock doubts that narrative surrounding Kevin Stefanski’s team. In a post discussing the Browns’ O-line, he highlighted how a similar story played out during Shedeur Sanders’ two-year stint with the Colorado Buffaloes.

“I remember when people tweeted this stuff about Colorado’s offensive line. Shedeur shows up and his teammates get thrown under buses. Shedeur Sexuals have a pattern,” Whitlock tweeted.

In Week 15, the Browns suffered a humiliating 31-3 loss at the hands of the Chicago bones. In that game, Shedeur completed 18 of 35 passes for 177 yards and three interceptions.
In the postgame press conference, the rookie quarterback talked about a specific pass to Jerry Jeudy in the third quarter. If the WR had made the catch, the Browns would have had their first touchdown of the game. However, it ended up being intercepted by CB Jaylon Johnson.
“I’m not going to kick anybody while I’m down,” Shedeur said. “He understands it was a big play, and I’m sure he’s hard on himself. So he doesn’t have to be extra and do it.”
Jason Whitlock was not happy Shedeur Sanders comments about Jerry Jeudy and criticized him on social media.
“Absolutely unreal. He backed a bus over Jeudy while claiming he didn’t. Bring back the awesome. Would love to hear Shedeur’s score,” Whitlock tweeted.
On ESPN’s “First Take” on Tuesday, Stephen A. Smith didn’t mince his words as he criticized Kevin Stefanski’s game.
He blamed the brown coach for Shedeur’s struggles on the field, highlighting how it has been a persistent problem with him.
“This guy, Kevin Stefanski, was like 11 quarterbacks in the last four years?” said Smith. “Was it something like that? You’re talking about 13 quarterbacks from 2020? Damn, can’t you find someone that works?
“Baker Mayfield looked great without you. You see other quarterbacks, they look relatively decent without you. And you’re looking at Kevin Stefanski, a two-time coach of the year. What’s the big deal?”
The brown they are currently in last place in the AFC North with a 3-11 record. They next face the Bills on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET.
