Former NFL star Tyrann Mathieu reacted to news of Taylor Swift giving bonuses to her staff following the success of her Eras tour. The Grammy-winning singer’s Eras tour, which ran from March 2023 to December 2024, generated an estimated $2 billion.

Swift reportedly awarded her staff $197 million in bonuses for the success of the tour. A fan page, Farrukh, shared the news on his X account (formerly Twitter), and Mathieu re-shared it on his social network. In the caption, she sent a heartfelt message to Swift.

“A masterclass in leadership! I may have just become a quickie,” he wrote in a tweet on Sunday.

Tyrann Mathieu played with Swift’s fiance, Travis Kelceto the Kansas City Chiefs from 2019 to 2021. He then played for the New Orleans Saints from 2022 to 2024 and announced his retirement in July.

While Taylor Swift’s tour was a success, she also launched a docuseries based on it. “The End of an Era” premiered on Disney+ on December 12. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have had a busy year, but despite their busy schedules, the couple made sure to spend time with each other. A source said People Magazine that Swift and Kelce “put a lot into their relationship.”

“Taylor has had an incredibly busy and demanding year and is very proud of everything she has achieved,” the source said. “She’s worked really hard and her schedule has been non-stop, but even with everything going on, she and Travis still put a lot into their relationship.”
