#4. Nixon Newell is now accepting reservations

Former WWE and AEW star Nixon Newell recently announced that he is accepting reservations of wrestling promotions for 2026. The star recently made headlines after exiting the Tony Khan-led promotion.

After parting ways with WWE in 2024, Newell, also known as Tegan Nox, was introduced to AEW in October 2025. The star was paired with Miranda Alize and the two competed as a tag team at Collision. However, the following week, both stars decided to leave the company. Nixon cited creative differences and getting three minutes of airtime as the main reasons for the walkout.


#3. The AEW star’s wit on Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch has become the talking point of the wrestling industry with her promos and heel gimmicks. Since losing the Women’s Intercontinental Title, she has been on a smear campaign against RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and new titleholder Maxine Dupri.

It was an eventful week for Tony Khan and Co. as the promotion was in Manchester, England for the Holiday Bash tapings. The company recorded several hours of fighting with Dynamite and the first part of Collision, both of which aired this Wednesday. The second part of Collision will air later this week.

During the recordings of the second part, Mercedes Moné was in action. She issued an open challenge for the undisputed RevPro British Women’s Championship. The challenge was answered by British wrestling sensation, Alex Windor. In the match that followed, Windsor defeated the champion, bringing her tally back to 11. #1. MJF has a new ally in AEW

During this week’s edition of Dynamite’s Holiday Bash, Maxwell Jacob Friedman made an appearance. According to reports, the star had taken some time off to focus on her acting career.

MJF interrupted the contract signing segment for the triple threat match with AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. The star executed his Casino Gauntlet contract and was immediately inserted into the title picture.

Former MJF manager Mark Sterling, he came forward to deliver it the contract to the former champion to sign. Sterling later shared a picture of himself helping the returning star on social media with the caption: “Whatever it takes.”
