Stephen A. Smith put the star of Golden State Warriors Draymond Green after the loss of dubs against Denver Nuggets. The Warriors lost in 114-105 against a Nuggets template that did not have the star duo Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Aaron Gordon led the post by Denver recording 38 points and six rebounds.
Dubs only made 24.2% of their three points and fired 55.6% of the free launch line. If one night of abysmal shot was not enough, the team also made 20 changes. Smith, speaking of the Episode of First Take, Smith called Green for his performance (10 points (5-6 FG, 0-1 3pt), six rebounds and five assists against the nuggets.
“Who is the person who went to national television over the weekend All-Star and guaranteed a championship? Who is this? It was not Steph, it was not Jimmy. This is Draymond,” Smith said.

Smith then gave birth to teams often opens open to Green on the 3-point line and stated that he is in Draymond to do well.
“I am saying that if you do not keep it and leave it open and he hits these shots, it changes everything because then they can upset someone at the Western conference,” Smith said. “So the man who opened his mouth and guaranteed the championship is literally”
Added:
“I know what Jimmy Butler will do, we know what Jimmy Playoff is about, we know what Steph Curry is about. But if Draymond is shot, it is a different ball game, but he did -so he is about him, many things and we remember.”
Green fired 32.1% of the 3 -point line of his career. However, it is able to do better and shoot 39.5% since its best season from beyond the bow (2023-24).
Draymond Green reached another historic milestone for the team during its loss against the Nuggets on Monday. Green became the sixth player in Warriors history to get 6,000 rebounds. His wife, Hazel Renee, took to Instagram and wrote a sincere message:
“I'm really impressive with my man … people can say what they want but really are doing the damn Thang ππΎππΎππΎπ”
The Warriors selected Green with the 35th election during the second round of the 2012 project. From being a second round to an angular stone of the Warriors dynasty, Green's career has been immensely inspiring.
