Sage Wagner published an Instagram story after his boyfriend, Mason Taylor, was selected by New York with the 42nd selection in the second round of the 2025 NFL project. The celebration arrived through Instagram Stories, where Wagner returned to take a picture of the ex-stretch of the LSU, who celebrated his project at the moment surrounded by her, friends and family.

Mason Taylor's family celebrates their draft
The celebration project was not just exciting for Sage Wagner. Mason's father, Pro Football Hall of Famer Jason TaylorHe shared an emotional response during a zoom interview with the media after the selection.
“The sun has put in my career and I have finished, so it is great power to sit and see it,” Taylor said through ESPN. “See you walk around the same installation and use the dressing room and take the same path I took; you are trying to do -I cry. I will not.
Jason has strong connections with AFC East, after having played 13 seasons with the Miami Dolphins. He spent the 2010 season with the Jets, giving Mason an early exhibition in New York City. During an interview with Espn on Friday, Mason recalled living in Manhattan as a child.
“Running there and running around New York was fun. It was an explosion,” Mason said. “It is certainly madness and eyes opening, knowing that I will be there now, bigger. It's an incredible experience and I'm really excited for it.”
The Aunt of Mason, the host of Fox Sports, Joy Taylor, also celebrated the selection. He mentioned in the podcast of Jonathan Zaslow, who was “excited but nervous” by his nephew who entered the project.
The tight end of 20 years (which is 21 years old in May) joins the jets after a great college degree in LSU. He set up a school record with 55 catches in 2024 and is the only tight end in Tigers' history to have more than 1,000 gardens and 100 catches in his career.
