United States President Donald Trump seeks to change Nile in college sports after meeting with the former Crimson Marea coach Nick Saban.
Saban has advanced his frustration with Nile, as he says it is only a payment, which is not supposed. After gathering with Trump, it was reported that the president is looking at Nil, according to the Wall Street Journal.
“The Trump administration is studying an executive order that could increase the scrutiny of the explosion in payments to university athletes since 2021, after the president met with the former Alabama coach, Nick Saban, said white house officials …”, said the article.
•
“Trump said he agreed with Saban and would try to elaborate an executive order, said the people who knew the meeting. Trump told Aides to start studying what an order could say, the people said,” the article added.
Once the report has come out, one of TrumpThe most important critics, Jemele Hill, exploded the president to try to end Nile.
“Pay attention to university athletes … You bet you did not know when or if you voted. The NCAA has dropped 250 million fresh dollars in the lobbyists to take advantage of Nile control. Good luck!”
Hill is a writer from the Atlantic, who previously worked in ESPN and has been a vocal critical of Trump. In 2017, Hill sent a publication to X calling Trump “a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself with other white supremacists.”
Therefore, it is not a surprise that Hill is not a fan of what Trump tries to do after receiving advice from Nick Saban.
Nick Saban Undoubtedly, he is the largest university football coach of all time and before Nile was official, he was against.
Saban thought that Nile would become a payment, which has happened.
“This creates a situation where you can basically buy players,” Saban told The Associated Press in 2022 about his concerns with Nile. “You can do it in the hiring. I mean, if we want this to be university football, I do not know. And you can also get players to enter the transfer portal to see if they can get more place than they can get in your site.”
Nile and the transfer portal also ended up being a key reason that Saban retired from the training of Crimson Tide.
Saban finished his college degree with seven national championships and spent 292-71-1 as a university coach.
