Aaliyah Chavez, the Guard of the American Point of McDonald, ranks third in the country, according to the final ranking of ESPN. After completing a high school basketball race at Monterey High School, the timely guard will join Oklahoma Sooners next season.
On Tuesday, her mother, Andrea Chavez, shared some healthy images on Instagram of the mother-dusted duo with a countdown for graduation day.
“Believe in yourself you think you can, and you will do it,” Andrea Chavez titled his story and labeled his daughter, along with a countdown sticker.
Shared another story:
“I feel like we blinked and we made a senior.”
Earlier, Andrea Chavez shared some more pictures of Oklahoma Sooners pledged from his childhood with some sincere messages, as he counted until the day of his graduation:
“Never forget everything you have achieved.”
“Never forget all the times you went even when you thought you couldn't,” the second story was titled.
Chávez, who joined the school in the 2021-22 season, promised 25.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 2.3 robberies and 0.7 blocks per game in 39 games in his first season.
In four seasons in the plains, Chavez played 150 games and had an average of 32.0 ppg, 5.1 APG, 8.5 rpg, 3.2 SPG and 0.9 BPG.
In her last season in Monterey, Chávez was close to promotion of a double-double, with 34.5 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 4.3 APG, 3.7 SPG and 1.2 PB in 42 games.
In addition, he directed the school to a global record of 37-5 and a record of 14-2 in the Basketball League of the region and 5th of the region and 5th of Texas, where they finished third, below Amarillo and Tascosa. Chávez also directed the school to the State Basketball Championships of the 2025 Uil Texas girls after a 64-35 victory against Liberty Hill on March 1.
Chávez will be added Keziah Lofton and Brooklyn Stewart next season.
