The Nascar Cup season goes to the Charlotte Motor Speedway road for the 13th race of the season, the Coca-Cola 600. Ahead of the event, Nascar Insider Bob Pockrass gave his prediction, choosing the winner, the first five finishes and a long-term winner for 2025 Coca-Cola 600.
Pockrass chose the Hendrick Motorsports Kyle Larson star to reach Victory Lane in Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 25. Larson has a good record at the 1.5 mile Kansas, as he has recorded three wins, four best fifty and first eight finishes in his name in 16 races. Chevrolet's #24 driver will start from third place in the 40th drivers on Sunday.
Rounding the five main predictions of Pockrarass is the winner of the event, Christopher Bell; Austin Cindric; Alex Bowman; and Chase Briscoe. He also chose Ty Gibbs as a long -time perspective. Gibbs will start from seventh place.
Pockrass wrote to X:
“My Cup Cup for Cike 600: Kyle Larson … Top-5: Larson Bell Cindric Bowman Briscoe … LongShot: Gibbs et 5-Prime-PRECRACE 6: 27-FRIM-CUP RACE, stages 100-100-100, 13 sets of tires, fuel 62-70 laps”
Kyle Larson has won three wins, eight first five and nine finishes of 10 in 12 races so far in the 2025 season and will try to get the fourth victory of the season. It has an average end of 9.8 in 12 races and is currently leading the Cup Points Table. He is also trying to double Sunday, competing in Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600.
In the meantime, the options of Pockrarass, Bell and Cindric, are the main favorites to win Coca-Cola 600 at the probabilities table. The legend of the Nascar, Jimmie Johnson, is the most successful active pilot with four Coca-Cola 600 wins.
Kevin Harvick, Larson's teammate, chose Larson's teammate, William Byron, chose Larson's teammate to win his second season's second race on the 1.5 -mile Charlotte court.
In the last episode of Kevin Harvick's Happy Hour podcast, when his co-friend Kaitlyn Vincie asked him to give his prediction for this weekend's Charlotte Spring race, Harvick chose Byron and said (43:30):
“600 kilometers. This is long, but a long time. I'm going to go with William Byron.”
