Analyst CFB presents the model for John Mateer to drive to Oklahoma to CFP

A disappointing season 2024 saw Jackson Arnold hitting the transfer portal and Oklahoma recruiting John Mateer in Washington State. Mateer impressed as a starter for the Couugars, but entered the Sooners program with important expectations and challenges.

One of the advantages for Mateer meets his former offensive coordinator in the Washington state, Ben Arbuckle, now to Oklahoma staff. The Sunday episode of this dry football podcast, the dry hosts Mike and the cousin Shane argued Mateer's prospects with the sounders.

“I think this guy will be phenomenal,” Mike said. “We will revitalize the offense to Oklahoma. Luckily, we bring his offensive coordinator and quarterback coach and this will really help the transition.”

Oklahoma struggled offensively last season, sitting in the ten national tenth in scoring. Mateer, which many analysts have been recognized as the country's higher transfer quarterback, is expected to give things.

“John matir is right there, this is a guy who was introduced to save this program,” said Mike. “This is how he has been dubbed since then and now every list I see has John Mateer as the best or on top of the best quarterbacks of this conference and that is good and well. But if it is not suddenly.

“We will not blame the quarterback, we will blame our coach and suddenly this thing will implode. This is a great season for Oklahoma.”

John Mateer is building brotherhood in Oklahoma

Under the direction of Ben Arbuckle last season, John Mateer led the entire FBS in Total Touchdowns, registering 29 in the air and 15 on the ground. With his transfer to Oklahoma, fans are eager to see similar results for the sounders.
