Isayama Did an incredible job not only with the characters Attack to Titan But also the plot. Each character was created incredibly, and the rhythm and time of the story were too perfect, as the details of each character were presented to the right place.
If Isayama showed the viewers to the Marleyans in the first story, viewers would have easily chosen one side. The manga artist did the same with Eldian Warriors.
Viewers who have learned Reiner And Bertolt's betrayal would approach them with hatred, and when they discover that two of them were responsible for the destruction of the walls, hatred would multiply further. It also did not help two of these characters to act endlessly. Bertolt seemed to be afraid, but he was equally aggressive as Reiner.
Before his death, Bertolt seemed to accept his place in the scheme of things. Reiner began to appear fragmented at that time, but Bertolt's head was as straight as always. He became the warrior that the Marleyans had washed his brain.
Would go to one last rampage, hurting members of his unit, the Body of polls. The person who suffered the most was his comrade, Armin, whom he scalded to the point of near death.
When he was defeated in his colossal titan and was about to be fed ArminTitan's shape, viewers saw that Bertolt's character made a complete 360. The man who had made a resolution no longer appeared. He begged his old comrades to save his life, and he cried as a child; For many viewers, this was happiness and relief, but it should not be.
Bertolt's death was poignant and cathartic, and it was a reflection of how humans return to the base of instincts in the face of death. All those ideals that finally began to live were useless; The only thing that mattered was life. It was also a sign that never worried about the war, and the only reason he hooked was because he had no other choice.
When viewers later learn about Titan's story, their hassle with Bertolt's character is not reduced, but they understand it deeply. Bertolt's character may be bad, but he is the victim of a well-granted machine that causes the Elders to find it worthwhile.
Attack to Titan Fans also need to keep in mind that Bertolt had no one Paradis Island Or Marley who could sit and vie for peaceful solutions.
