Deion Sanders and Colorado's buffalo have been a hard time in their hope of obtaining a strong recruiting class for the 2026 season.
It was announced on Wednesday that Cederian Morgan committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
•
The buffalo had their eyes on Morgan and the player visited Boulder in May. However, this was not enough to attract the player with Deion Sanders.
Cederian Morgan is a five -star Alabama -wide receiver. 247 SPORTS occupies it as the eleventh best player in the class of 2026, the second best broad receiver and the best Alabama player.
He attends Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, where he became a successful athlete of three sports (athletics, basketball and football).
Focusing on the Griridon, Morgan finished his first year with 1,162 yards and 14 touchdowns, as he helped his team to make the state playoffs.
These numbers made Morgan a player sought, receiving offers from numerous more important teams, including Colorado, Clemson and Arkansas. However, all these teams could not get the possibility of signing.
The failure of carrying Cederian Morgan is another setback for Colorado buffaloes in their search to keep them a contestant in the Big 12 in the coming years.
Currently, 247 SPORTS occupies the 2026 Colorado recruiting class at 100th National position, with five committed players. The best of these is the security of four star Preston Ashley. Although buffalo has expanded offers to several other recruits, some of which can be committed in the coming weeks, they are unlikely to land a Morgan caliber player in Boulder.
In contrast, Morgan's signature only increases the 2026 class of Crimson Tide. 247 SPORTS occupies them as the sixth best in the country, and Morgan is one of the five -star classified players to commit.
Xavier Griffin, a highest rated linebacker and the number 8 player in the class, also committed to Alabama this week.
