The PGA Tour and the Saudi League, LIV Golf, are still in a paralysis of the merger. The PGA Tour winner, Lucas Glover, has published his sincere opinion on the potential return of Liv's golfers to the American circuit, saying that he is still dissatisfied with the decision of the golfers of Liv to leave the tour. To say -simply, don't want them to return.
PGA Tour and Liv Golf reached another parallel in their negotiations in April. LIV offered a reunification agreement of $ 1.5 billion to the PGA Tour, but was considered inappropriate and thus rejected.
During an episode of the Lucas Glover program on Radio Siriusxm PGA Tour, the only major champion spoke. He said that, if appropriate, the players of the PIF -funded league should not return because they made the route easy.
“I don't want to play with them. I personally do not think they had to go back here. I don't want them here. They made their decision and I don't blame it. They made a decision, I don't care. But they also left this tour and they chose.” (0:10)
The Greenville -born golfist said he has always dreamed of playing PGA tour and has poured his “heart and soul” on the tour for 21 seasons. As such, the Gulf of Liv, who believes they took the “less resistance path”, should not get the benefits of their contribution to the tour again.
Glaz He admitted that despite his feelings, he was advised to take his emotions out of the situation and look at the biggest image: he gave the golf game. However, he also admitted that doing it does not necessarily make it easier.
“… Sometimes you have to get excitement, but it is still very difficult for me because it is still my dream. And I chose to stay -and after I chose to stay -I was successful.”
Now talking for the PGA TourLucas Glover shared that, regardless of everything that has elapsed, they are now focused on moving forward. He also added that if influential liv golfers may draw more attention to the game, reunification can be for a greater good.
Lucas Glover made his third cut at the PGA Tour al Kohn Deere Classic in 2002 and won the tournament in 2021. During his program on Radio Siriusxm Pga Tour, Glover spoke of the tournament and said:
“I started here, Matt started here in the summer of '02 … This tournament always seems to provide young initial players and jumps in their career. You will see a lot of that.”
Currently Lucas Glover makes its 18th PGA tour from the year 2025 John Deere Classic. He has not yet claimed his first PGA Tour title of the season, and his best result so far is T3 of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM.
