Appearing on Wednesday at The Howard Stern Show (the one-minute mark), the ESPN broadcaster said he has been wanting to host Saturday Night Live.

“I'm going to make a shameless plug,” he said. “One of the things on my bucket list. I want to be a hospitality professional Saturday Night Live.”

Smith is a regular on television as one of the faces of ESPN, and has also been associated with political television shows. He did even appearance on a soap opera, General Hospital.

SNL is also known for Smith.
