Jang Theo caught viewers' attention with his first impression, showing a carefree personality. Theo impressed contestant Lee Si-an with his humorous answers and positive attitude. The two emerged as a couple for Date in Paradise in episode three.

Jang Theo is a South Korean actor who drew attention of Internet users with his appearance as a participant in Netflix Bachelor's hell 4. During the first episode of the show, Jang Theo showed off his beefy body by working out at the gym describing himself he said,
“My name is Jang Theo. If I had to describe my personality in one sentence, it would be: 'I'm like a bulldozer'. 'I'm bold and direct'”.
He also talked about his approach relationships and the traits that attract women:
“I don't care what other people think. I'm not calculating, I don't play hard to get it. When it comes to my looks, I know I'm not everyone's type. I'm very popular with the go-to type of guy bad. But I get rejected by women who prefer softer, more puppy-like looks.”
