Much to the chagrin of other fans, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs just keep winning.
And he enjoys it all.
Mahomes took to social media on Sunday after leading his team to a dramatic 32-29 victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game and posted a meme of Kermit the Frog sipping tea without a care in the world:
Many fans have joked that Mahomes sometimes sounds like Kermit, and he accepted the joke at last year's Super Bowl media day:
Of course, there was the time before the season when the rival Las Vegas Raiders taunted Mahomes with a Kermit doll:
The trolling didn't quite work out, as the Raiders finished 4-13 and in last place in the AFC West, while the Chiefs made their fifth Super Bowl in six years. And they are just one win away from becoming the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Lombardi Trophies over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mahomes will surely have some kind of social media backlash ready if he makes history.
