He said that a few weeks ago, Sami fought against John Cena and the two evenly paired. The veteran writer described that Evans went up from NXT and spent 50-50 with the United States champion. This meant that everyone was reserved similarly and no one was over.

In SmackDown's episode of August 29, Sami Zayn defeated Sikoa alone to become the new United States champion. Since then, it has positioned itself as a fighting champion, recovering the open challenge of the United States title.
In recent weeks, he has had memorable matches against John Cena, Rey Fenix and Carmelo Hayes.
