The owner of Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones is considered very safe to his choice to hire Brian Schottenheimer as the next main team coach.
Jones talked to Diann Russini from the athletic and explained that Schottenheimer and family laurel was the key reasons why they hired him.

“I looked at the age of 25 that I was in many staff in the NFL,” Jones said. “I looked sitting around and a dinner table with my father, Marty Schottenheimer, and I know what osmosis works. It doesn't fall far from the tree.”
Jones also mentioned that “Ball of Fire” will have Schottenheimer as a new coach, along with his experience and beating from cowboy players.
“What is the opportunity to go out for the first time from shooting and the balls of the fire coming with that, and yet he has his experience at the same time,” Jones said. “Plus, his biggest root part are our players, people like Dak Prescott. So when you add all that up, this was risky because it was the first time the main coach, but we arrived here at risk.”
The father of Schottenheimer served as the main NFL coach for 21 years, and Brian served as a coach in various roles since 1997. years. He was an offensive coordinator for New York Ajts, Seattle Seahawks and cowboys and also worked as a coach attacker, passing the game coordinator and a coaching analyst.
It is with cowboys from 2022. years and finally gets its first crack at the head training job. He took over a team that went 7-10 in 2024. years, but exhausted injuries and just had three consecutive 12-win seasons.
