Damon Hill shared his dam that Cadillac showed interest in Charles Leclerc, Ferrari's star driver. Sharing their thoughts Mario AndrettiThe comment, Hill went to his official social media account and wrote that Leclerc is “ready”.
Andretti, the legend of the F1 and ex -conductor, serves as an advisor and member of the board of the new F1 team in the United States, the F1 Cadillac team. Although they have already hired two drivers (Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez), Andretti would like to have the Ferrari star on his team.
Talking about this at the Dello Sport Festival, here is what Mario Andretti said:
“I am a great fan of Leclerc; if I really wanted to change teams one day, I would take him to Cadillac immediately. Ferrari is Ferrari, and sooner or later he will return. Always.”

Hill's comment comes after Charles Leclerc was not satisfied with Ferrari's development in the 2025 season. To fight for the Championship of Builders against McLarenThe horse is now struggling in the battle by P2 against Mercedes and Red Bull.
At the time McLaren deleted the championship with eight races, Ferrari could not make much modifications. The situation became more sour, as Ferrari remained the only higher team not to win a race this season.
In a way, Charles Leclerc could not compete for the championship once again since his arrival in the team in 2019. Despite the fact that the Ferrari talks were a championship contestant, the situation actually turned out to be very different.
After three quarters of the season, Charles Leclerc issued his verdict on Ferrari. Speaking in the media, the driver of Monegasque shared his thoughts on Ferrari's strengths, compared to the strengths of his immediate opponent.


“I think we are in a very different place last year,” said Leclerc. “However, to resume, in the simplest way, I feel that Mercedes is very strong as long as it is cold and it seems that we are stronger whenever it is hot.”

Currently, Charles Leclerc is in the P5 of the pilot championship with 173 points after 18 races and three sprints. His teammate, Lewis Hamilton, is in P6 with 127 points. Ferrari is in the P3 of the Championship of Builders with 300 points.
