'Forever idol of idol': Fans react as TWS's Dohoon and Shinyu recall their reaction to seeing BTS's Taehyung in person at CELINE's PFW


On November 2, 2025, new K-pop duo Dohoon and Shinyu of TWS chatted with fans on Weverse. During the live session, they reminisced about meeting BTS's Taehyung face-to-face for the first time at CELINE's Paris Fashion Week show in October.

TWS is a six-member group under Pledis Entertainment, a subsidiary of HYBE. They debuted in January 2024 with their EP bright blue. The group includes Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin. They quickly gained popularity with songs like Plot twist i If I'm S, can you be my N?.

In November 2024, the six members were officially announced as a by CELINE global ambassadors, making them some of the youngest K-pop acts to represent the French luxury brand. Their appearance at Paris Fashion Week 2025 marked a major milestone as they shared the stage with BTS's Taehyung, who is the global face of CELINE.

In a later interview, TWS revealed that Taehyung took care of them at the after party. He reassured them not to feel nervous and even shared conversations about music. Dohoon also appeared in Wendy's Youngstreet Radio Show, where he was asked to leave a message for the BTS star. he said,

“Ah, me? Thank you so much for taking such good care of us then, and also when we met again recently, thank you for greeting me so warmly again!”

Recently, TWS has been promoting their fourth mini album, play hardwhich includes the title track Overdrive. To celebrate the launch, they launched an interactive event called Overdrive license. Fans could participate in themed “immersion” activities related to the album's concept. Earlier this year, the group also debuted Try with ushis third EP.

Beyond music, TWS has expanded into fashion and sports. They now serve as ambassadors for the Korea Football Association, representing the national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
