The Los Angeles Dodgers continued their World Series celebrations following their best-of-seven series win over the Toronto Blue Jays last week.

Freddie Freeman hits home run for the Dodgers 2026 season after the World Series win

The Dodgers became the first time since the New York Yankees to win consecutive World Series titles. However, Freddie Freeman is not happy and is aiming for a three-peat, accomplished by the Yankees from 1998 to 2000.

“We're not trying to do something that another team did, we're just trying to win. That's why we do it.” Freeman said Monday. “I will probably take three days off, start training again and prepare for 2026.

“That's what we do. We want to win. That's why we play this game, that's why we grind. That's why we travel every week. We leave our families to go do this around town. That's what it's all about. There's nothing that fuels us more than winning a championship.”

With the Dodgers finding a new hero in Yoshinobu Yamamoto amid their old guard, the NL West team will be a formidable opponent for all MLB teams next season when they opt for the elusive three-peat.
