Speaking to journalists on Saturday, Antekounmpo was honest about what he feels after fighting Covid for a few days. It is still the effects and is not in shape, with less than three weeks left before the start of the 2025-26 NBA season.
“I think my body affected,” said Antekounmpo, according to Associated Press. “I still do not feel 100% physically. Just taking it day by day, returning in shape. I could do a little 5 to 0, run a little and go down a little. Tomorrow I will be a little better. I have 18 days until the first game, so I think I will be fine.”
