“I mean, it's kind of sad. He's one of the greats. He's been fighting for over 25 years at this point. It's sad for someone as big as him to hang up. But still, I'm happy because knowing him personally, I know he's also a family man. He's got a beautiful family and I also knew that he's going to spend time with his son.”
The veteran added that Styles has been successful in every company he has worked for and has achieved everything in the business.
“He's been successful in every company he's ever wrestled in, you know, from Ring of Honor, New Japan, TNA, WWE. He's done it all. He's done everything. He's truly 'The Phenomenal One'. That nickname isn't just a nickname for nothing. It means something. He's done it at the highest level for 25 years and he's still doing it,” he added. (H/T: fighter)

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently questioned whether WWE can properly book AJ Styles' final year in the ring.
talking Writing with Russothe veteran suggested that the company He may not know how to bookend the 48-year-old's final year of in-ring competition. He stated that the promotion would likely only book AJ Styles against WWE stars he wanted to work with during his last run with the company.
“Bro, I don't even know. Like I don't know what to tell you. As a shoot, I'd let AJ work against whoever he wants to work. Let's face it, we're in the era of the five-star match. There's no way out, especially when he announces he's on his way out. So you can't make a loser leave town because we already know he's leaving. End of the year, so everybody knows the end of the story. So knowing them, the easiest way is to let them match the people he wants to have.
It will be fascinating to see how long AJ Styles and Dragon Lee can hold onto the World Tag Team Championships moving forward on WWE RAW.
