Could Houston jeans try to improve their offensive line with their first round in the NFL draft 2025? The Guru of the NFL Mel Kiper Jr. Think about it. On Tuesday, Kiper launched his latest draft Mock, where he predicts that jeans will select Josh Simmons, the Texans of the State of Ohio.
Simmons is one of the best attacks on the project and was named third team All-Big Ten last season. Unfortunately for Simmons, he suffered a patellar tendon torn last season, but is expected to be ready to go to week 1 in the fall.
Kiper believes that this is not an idea that Houston added Simmons after they exchanged Larimy Tunsil to Washington commanders. Kiper wrote:

“ Even after resigning 54 sacks in 2024 (tied for third place), Houston traded his best offensive lineman in an attack by Laemy Tunsil. That is why this choice is easy for me. Simmons has gentle movement features and allowed a sack for 19 starting from changing to the left -wing game before the 2023 season.

“The only reason I do not have to come from the board before is his knee injury. He went down in October and lost the rest of the season, and he has not worked yet. But once he is healthy, he could go into this gap and try to turn around the past protection in Houston.”
Houston Texans The quarterback CJ Stroud started his young NFL race, appearing and winning a playoff game in each of his first two seasons.
Stroud had one of the best rookie seasons two years ago, launching for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns and only five interceptions while completing 63.9 percent of his steps. He also helped Houston reach the playoffs, throwing 449 yards, three touchdowns and without interceptions.
This season last season at the NFL, Stroud increased its record, going from 9 to 6 to 10-7 as a starter, but did not replicate the same success as its initial season.
Stroud launched for less yards (3,727), Touchdowns (20), had a drop in the percentage of completion (63.2 percent) and threw more interceptions (12.)
This season, the jeans added a large Christian Kirk receiver of the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Stefon Diggs is still a free agent. They have been one of the quietest teams of the free agency, with its greatest play in the trade of Larimy Tunsil.
Stroud, being sacked third place in the NFL last season, will have a better year, but the jeans will have to meet some offensive needs before the season.
