Netflix has officially begun production in the second season of We are all dead. On July 23, 2025, the Streamer published a short clip that showed the cast collected for a script reading session. The actors-Park Ji-Hu, Lomon, Cho Yi-Hyun, Yoon Chan-Young, Lee Min-Jae, Kim Si-Eun, Roh Jae-Won and Yoon Ga-i-van were seen on their pages.
A new addition, a zombie, also appeared on the table, sitting at the center. The black and white images gradually moved to red where the zombie touched, mainly through the scripts.
The video marks the first official update since the second season of the program was announced in 2022. With the production that only began now, the delay has not overlooked fans, many of which expressed their online disappointment.
