Ariarne Titmus stole the show in a chic black dress during her special appearance with boyfriend Mack Powell on Derby Day. This appearance was her debut event after her retirement from swimming.

Titmus' last competitive outing was at the Paris Olympics, and after a year, he announced his retirement from the sport. She recently attended her first formal event as a former swimmer at Derby Day on November 1st.

The former swimmer shared a few photos of herself in a black bow tie cocktail dress by Jimmy Choo paired with white heels from the event on Instagram. She also uploaded a photo with her boyfriend, who was wearing a gray and black suit. The title of the post read:

“Derby Day 🖤”

Titmus went public with her relationship with boyfriend Mack as they attended the Australian Open together in January 2025. She recently wrote a message for him on his Instagram story alongside a photo of them from their appearance at the opening of luxury store Tiffany & Co. The note said:

“You are the greatest gift of all.”

Ariarne Titmus had an illustrious swimming career, with 10 world championship medals and 4 Olympic medals. The Australian announced her retirement from the sport after competing for more than 18 years a sincere note on his Instagram handle.

“Dear seven-year-old Ariarne, today you retire from competitive swimming. 18 years in the pool competing. 10 of those representing your country. You went to two Olympics and even better, you won!! The dreams you had…all came true. The friends you've made…are for life. You've accomplished more than you ever thought you were capable of, and you should write Ariarne so proud.”

She also said that she is happy with her career and is excited for the future.

“You've just turned 25 and it's the right time to step away from swimming. The pursuit was relentless and you gave it everything you gave. You left knowing that every stone was turned, no regrets. You're satisfied, happy and happy. What's ahead is exciting. New goals, more time with the people you love most, added your first chance,” she added.

In September, at the beginning of the year, Ariarne Titmus enjoyed a hot air balloon ride with her boyfriend, Mack Powell, as a pre-birthday celebration.
