Former NHL player Paul Bissonnette shared his prediction after the Edmonton Oilers fell from behind 3-0 to Florida Panthers After the first period in the match 4 of the Stanley Cup final 2024-25.
The Oilers assumed three penalties in the opening framework on Thursday, and the Panthers capitalized -two.
Matthew Tkachuk scored a couple of game goals at 11:40 and 16:56 to put the panthers 2-0. Tkachuk's first came after Evander Kane was whistled by Aj Greer of great hand.
After a minute, Darnell Nurse assumed a penalty against Aleksander Barkov, but the Oilers killed the penalty. At 15:18, Matthias Ekholm won a great stuck to Brad Marchand, which Tkachuk scored his second goal. With less than a minute left in the first period, Anton Lundell won 3-0 for the panthers.
After seeing the oilers unveiled in the first 20 minutes, Bissonnette wrote:
“Oil has nothing. They do not take place. Anaconda covers the game.
Biznasty's prediction came a little early, with two full periods of hockey.
However, with the way the panthers master on special teams and controlling the play in uniform, Bissonnette felt that the game was already out of reach of Connor McDavid and the oilers.
