After finishing her first year season with Baylor, Robert Wright III entered the transfer portal and committed to the BYU Cougars. As a strong season comes with bears, he has been working hard to improve this low season.
On Wednesday, he shared a video of himself by practicing his Instagram story. Included a four -word message for his fans. The video was cut off and re -published on X on Wednesday morning.
“Returning this finger.”
Wright's comment refers to him by making a shot back. He is practicing to ensure that he has a softer touch near next season and can put points more consistently. As a freshman, he acted well, with an average of 11.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.0 robberies per game. However, he fought with efficiency.
Wright only shot at a rate of 41.4% of the field this past season. For someone who promoted less than three shots of three points per game, it is not an ideal rate. It seems that Wright is his own toughest critic, as he works to ensure that he is a better ending next season.
Directing the 2025-26 season, Robert Wright III will be with the Byu Cougars more than the Baylor bears. The Couugars announced on April 14 that Wright had signed to join the team for next season. Shortly after announcement It was done, the main coach Kevin Young published a statement on the team's excitement to add Wright to his list.
“We are excited to welcome Rob and all his family to Byu,” Young said in a statement. “It comes from a big family and we are happy to all join the Nation. Rob is one of the most dynamic guards in the country with its combination of speed and speed.”
“He is the general general of the plant and makes everyone around him better. We hope to get Rob on the campus and work.”
Expectations will be high for counters due to their important additions this season. Robert Wright III is a significant addition through the transfer portal, but the signature of the recruitment number 1 recruiting AJ Dybantsa is even more important.
Dybantsa is expected to consider the first NBA project of 2026. As a result, the team will probably have only one season to try to win a national championship with Dybantsa and Wright on their list.
