CFB fans get excited as Celebrity guest lineup announced for Week 10 showdown


Week 10 of the 2025 college football season is just around the corner. On Thursday, it was announced that former Utah quarterback Alex Smith will be the celebrity guest picker for the next round of games.

When fans found out Smith was returning to Utah for Week 10, they had some interesting reactions.

“Can't wait,” tweeted one.

“This is awesome,” added another.

“Man…I'm so thankful I was in Utah when I was ballin. Good times,” he said. commented a third.

Smith played three years at Utah. He was then selected first overall by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2005 NFL Draft.

Smith, who played 16 years in the pro league, also had stints with the Kansas City Chiefs and then-Washington Redskins.

In 2024, Smith became the first Utah player to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Where is ESPN's College GameDay for Week 10?

ESPN's College GameDay heads to Salt Lake City for Week 10. ESPN's pre-college football show will travel to Utah for the crunch contest between No. 24 Utah (6-2, 3-2 Big 12) and No. 16 Cincinnati (7-1, 5-0) on Saturday.

This Saturday will mark the first time GameDay will be held in Utah since 2023. It's also the sixth time the Utes have hosted the pregame show and the program's eighth appearance overall.
