India and England will face a series of five tests from Friday, June 20 in Headingley in Leeds. The series includes five tests and will be played in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, while the winning captain will be awarded the Pataudi Medal.
India won its first series of tests in England in 1971 under the capable of management of Ajit WadekarAnd he followed him with several key performances over the years. However, his last victory in England arrived with Rahul Dravid at the helm in 2007.

#3 headingley, 1986
One of the most famous Indian test wins in Headingley in Leeds in the 1986 series, which they won by a 2-0 score. After winning the first test at Lord's by Five Wickets, India needed a victory in this game to secure the series and give an unattainable advantage in three-game rubber. And they did it spectacularly.
First, India went up 272 and then launched its hosts for a Paltry 102, thanks to the current BCCI president Roger Binny, 5-40. Then helped by the 102 of Dilip Vengsarkar in the second post, India established England a 408 goal to chase. The home team fired again and was all 128, with the left arm spinner Singh Singh Singh with a figure of 4-26.
#2 headingley, 2002
Headingley 2002 presents not only the most famous test victories in India in England, but also among his best test victories. It was in this series, and in particular in this test, a modern Indian cricket was established and they collected threads of what they had done in Kolkata 2001 and then followed Adelaide 2003. Interestingly, Rahul Dravid played massive roles in the three games.
In this game, India beat first and put a gigantic 628-8 declared on the board. In the midst of swinging conditions, Dravid stamped his authority on English bowls and played 307 balls to mark 148, winning the moniker of the “Monk of Headingley”. With the ball moving, Dravid directed the Indian ship and left most of the balls alone, playing only those that needed to pay attention.
Over time, conditions improved and Sachin tendulkar (193) and Sourav Ganguly (128) had fun at the expense of an English -looking English Bowling attack. Once exhausted from having overturned two days in India, England was released by 273 in the first entrances and 309 in the second. In order to take on all the challenges that were launched in difficult situations, Dravid was named a game player.
#1 Lord's, 2021
The 2021 Pataudi trophy was among the most interesting series between the two parties, who shared their boots with a 2-2 marker. The second test at Lord's was one of the best in India in the new millennium, without anyone giving them the opportunity to save -much less to win -the last day of action.
Thanks to KL Rahul, India had been created for the first time 364 before England responded with 390, with Joe Root at the helm with an impressive 180 unbeaten. India seemed to stutter when they were reduced to 209-8 on the last day play. However, Mohammed Shami (56*) and Jasprit Bumrah (34*) met to add 89 runs for the tenth Wicket, allowing Kohli to declare at 298-8.
England, which needed 272 runs on the 5th, lasted only 51.5 and launched by 120 Mohammed Siraj and Bumrah sharing seven doctors between them. This was one of the most important victories in India in recent times and promoted Kohli to become the country's largest test leader, although he would leave his role soon.
