Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard took responsibility for the team's failures in 2024 during a press conference on Friday.

According to Zak Keefer of The Athletic, Ballard said: “I didn't do enough racing on the list … that falls squarely on my shoulders. I made a mistake. I made a mistake.”

The Colts finished 8-9 this season and missed the playoffs for the fourth straight year, but team owner Jim Irsay. issued a statement at the end of the regular season, it is understood that they will retain Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen for the 2025 campaign.
