The Pearl of Africa T20i series will return to its second edition, organized by the Uganda Clicket Association, and will begin on Thursday, July 17 and will conclude on Sunday, July 27. During the period, 18 games will be held at the Cricket Oval Entebbe, Uganda.

The tournament will be played in a double -round robin format, with each team playing a total of eight games. At the end of the tournament, the team that ends at the top of the table will be crowned the winner of the series.

The tournament will feature five teams, such as the host nation, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Namibia A and the United Arab Emirates. Kuwait was initially named the fifth team of the tournament, but was replaced by Nigeria.

In the previous edition of the trophy, Uganda was victorious for six runs on Kenya. Frank Akankwasa was awarded the game player (Potm) for his valuable efforts, taking two crucial doctors.
