Connor Zilisch won his third race of the year in Sonoma Raceway, which marks the 98th victory of JR Motorsports at the Nascar Xfinity Series. With a record of gains from the 100th series for grabs, the 18-year-old wants to bring him himself for the team.
Zilisch is one of four full -time drivers JR MotorsportsDale Earnhardt Jr. Driving the Chevrolet Camaro#88, the native of North Carolina competes next to Carson Kvapil (#1), Sammy Smith (#8) and the champion of the defense series, Justin Allgaier (#7).

Zilisch won the Pit Boss/Foodmaxx 250 ahead of the Australian driver for 0.438 seconds. William Sawalich finished third, followed by Nick Sanchez and Riley Herbst, who joined the race as a part -time pilot of Joe Gibbs Racing.
While the 18 -year -old is preparing for the weekend of the Dover Race, Shane Van Gisbergen will return on Sunday to the court for Toyota/Save Mart 350 (Cup). SVG is one of the full -time drivers of Trackhouse Racing, next to Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez, though the The latter must leave the team At the end of the 2025 season.
