Ahead of his first game against his former team since being traded last month, Brooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell commented on Friday how his second stint with the Los Angeles Lakers has played out.

Speaking to reporters before Friday's game, Russell called his last spell in LA “dead.”

Russell said there is a “home” for him in Los Angeles and noted that he appreciates his time with the Lakers, but added that he is “trying to move on and trying to move past” that stage of his career.
