Dominik Mysterio shared a surprising update on John Cena following this week's edition of WWE RAW. Mysterio will defend his Intercontinental Championship this weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Mysterio took to his Instagram story today to share a surprising update on John Cena. Dirty Dom revealed that he was listening to the legend's song “Right Now,” and you can check out his update in the image below.

John Cena will compete in his final match in the main event on Saturday night on December 13th. Penta and Rusev battled in a number one match for the Intercontinental Championship last Monday night. WWE RAWbut Los Americanos interfered, causing the match to end by disqualification.

Later in the show, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced this Dominik Mysterio would defend the Intercontinental Championship against Rusev and Penta in a Triple Threat match at Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend.

Bill Apter discusses WWE's plans for Dominik Mysterio in Saturday Night's Main Event

Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently commented that there are only four matches booked for this weekend's Saturday Night Main Event and suggested that Dominik Mysterio's match could have extra time.

Cody Rhodes will defend his WWE Undisputed Championship against Drew McIntyre, and CM Punk will face Jey Uso for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at this weekend's event. Jade Cargill will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women's Championship, and the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line in a Triple Threat match.

Speaking at Sportskeeda's No writing show, Apter suggested that Mysterio's matchor the title match between McIntyre and Rhodes, a lot of time could be given to the show because there were only four matches.

“Maybe it will be a match, maybe the Dominik match or the Drew McIntyre-Cody match will be a long match. One of them will last at least 30 minutes,” Bill Apter said.
