Draymond Green brutally takes down Kevin O'Connor after a tough catch aimed at the Warriors' old core


Draymond Green lashed back at Kevin O'Connor after the NBA writer took aim at the former Golden State Warriors core following Green and Jimmy Butler's comments. After the loss to the OKC Thunder, Green alluded to “personal agenda” and Butler pressed for “sacrifice” for the sake of the team.

In a check-in message to Thread on Wednesday, O'Connor defended the Warriors' young core, writing that the old players were the “problem.” The sportswriter singled out Butler and Green in particular.

O'Connor said this Draymond Green he had “declined” and Jimmy Butler had stopped being his best version for a few years. O'Connor blamed Green and Butler for the loss.

However, Green didn't take long and hit O'Connor again with a brutal jab.

“Who said it was young Kevin? I said WE!!” Green clarified. “One thing's for sure, I don't mince words and you don't have to speak for me. That's what the Draymond Green show is for. I SPEAK FOR ME! ALWAYS!”

After a 24-point loss against the OKC Thunder, Green answered a reporter's question players with a personal agenda. Green defended the narrative. However, he added that the team has always been bigger than the individual players.

“I think everybody was committed to winning,” Green said. “I think everybody has a personal agenda in this league, but you have to make the personal agenda work within the confines of the team. And if it doesn't work, you have to get rid of your agenda or ultimately the agenda is the cause of someone getting rid of you.”

In their game before the loss to the Thunder, the Warriors posted a 31-point victory over the Indiana Pacers. Although Steph Curry They didn't play with illness, they played as a different team. Maybe Steve Kerr has a major chemistry issue to address.
