Formula 1 fans shared their thoughts as Toto Wolff shared his top four for the Mount Rushmore sculpture. As he named his picks for Mount Rushmore, he picked Lewis Hamilton and Cristiano Ronaldo as two of his four picks, leaving out Max Verstappen.
In a recent video shared by Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team at X, the Mercedes boss revealed the names. It started with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, F1's most successful driver.
He continued with the previous one Real Madrid Cristiano Ronaldo, arguably the best soccer player, and then chose Tom Brady and Roger Federer, two of the most successful NFL and tennis stars.
Sharing his picks, this is what the Silver Arrows boss had to say:
“So who would be my top four athletes for Mount Rushmore? Lewis Hamilton, obviously the GOAT. Then Ronaldo (Cristiano Ronaldo), Tom Brady, Roger Federer.”

As the video surfaced on social media, fans took to the social media account to share their reactions when Wolff dropped Verstappen, a driver he has been chasing for some time. Here are some of the reactions taken from the microblogging site, formerly Twitter:
One fan wrote: “Called Max privately and apologized shortly after this video.”
Another fan wrote: “Toto way Lewis said it without hesitation.”
“Lewis Hamilton being there was obvious, but on the other hand, great job by Toto with his fifth member, he must keep his Big Boss happy,” another fan wrote.
Another fan wrote: “You know I always like Toto and now I know why. Admin punch him for me. Tell him he knows ball.”
Another fan wrote: “Yes Lewis the GOAT.”
One fan wrote: “Then you realize why Toto is a billionaire – he knows how to make good decisions.”
Lewis Hamilton had a difficult start Ferrari journey From not getting a podium finish to finishing the race in DNF, the seven-time world champion had seen it all in his first season on the Prancing Horse. However, according to Toto Wolff, his former team principal, Hamilton will always remain the greatest of all time.”

“We had it in the past when he felt he didn't live up to his own expectations,” Wolff said during the 2025 Hungarian GP. “He's been so emotionally transparent since he was a young kid or a young adult. So, he's going to beat himself up.”
“He's the GOAT and he'll always be the GOAT, and nobody's going to take that away. There's certainly not a weekend or a racing season that hasn't been planned. That's one thing he's got to always remember: he's the best of all time,” he added.
Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff worked at Mercedes for 12 long years, where they claimed eight constructors' championships, with Hamilton taking six drivers' championships and 84 race wins.
