Kansas Jayhawks Basketball fans reacted after the team released Jersey's numbers for their 2025-26 list. The team's Instagram account published -on Monday and the publication was filled with comments from its fans.
Higher Recruitment Darryn Peterson will carry number 22, while Bryson Tiller's first year companion takes number 15. Other prominent names include Paul Mbiya (No. 34), Bidung Flora (No. 40) and Elmarko Jackson (No. 13).
Tre White Retains no. 3, Melvin Council Jr. Rocks No. 14 and Jamari McDowell is back at number 11. New faces such as Ngeryu Ngala (No. 0), Jayden Dawson (No. 1), Corbin Allen (No. 2), Samis Calderon (No. 6) and Kohl Rosario (No. 7) completed the updated template.
The announcement takes place after an aggressive season low on the transfer portal and the recruitment, with Kansas trying to bounce from an early departure to the last NCAA tournament. The spirits climb to the new campaign after the release of the Jersey number.

Another added: “Dear Sir, please make it a national title of Jayhawks this year, to God, we trust Amen!”
While a third simply said, “I can't wait.”
“I would love to add one more piece to the track. You can never have too low depth,” suggested a fan.
Others were seen with individual players.
“Let's get 11 🤩🤩🙏🏽,” he wrote a fan in support of McDowell.
Another added: “You need -Me a sweater #14 🔥”, showing the love for the Jr.
The same, which recovers from a heart procedure, seeks to drive the team to a second championship, but despite updates on the list, fans ask for more depth inside.
Kansas Jayhawks coach Bill Self had to undergo a procedure where two stents were inserted into the heart. It is expected that it will be fully recovered before next season.
Several people in the basketball world sent their wishes, including fans, former players and rival coaches. Houston coach Kelvin Sampson also prayed for self -health.
“He is a great coach, man. He has been good for our game,” Sampson said. “And I hope it comes in 10, 12 more years. But above all, I just pray for your health and your family.”
Self will expect to bounce next season, after having lost twice against Sampson in the last campaign.
